I seem to recall seeing photos of said pieces (don't know where). does anyone know about these? i"m thinking about a unique two-tone for the villager. Gerald
wagon and Ranchero paint dividers
any idea where i can find pics of such pieces? may have to fabricate some, as i imagine these would be difficult to find? Gerald
I actually bought some for mine. I can dig them out and get you measurements. They are off and loose. Just have to find them in my bins.
17.5" overall x 1/2" wide. Radiused at the center
17.375 at center. The piece has a rounded center. Point at one end and angled cut at the other. Also it elevated a bit for the body contour.
I think restoration specialities has some trim bar that is sold that can be due to create copied
abe, great pics ,but 17.5 inches seems to long ? measured from end of fin to top of tailgate ,measures about 14-15",depends on how much curve i allow. could you get a pic of one " mocked up" on a car? thanks Gerald
Let me double confirm and also lay them on my wagon tomorrow.
Here they are on my wagon this morning. They are 17.5ish inches
It's interesting they look good, even though there is no paint division here.
I just placed them there not bolted in. Was considering painting the tailgate red if I ever get to fixing the rust on the tailgate.
once again Abe, thanks for the great pics ! hard to imagine a paint separation there, but i guess you would just have to see it. don't know that it works for my application. Gerald
That is where the paint division is on my wagon.
