Im doing the granada discs and I have the m/c mounted with the proportioning valve plumbed in now Im doing the spindles rotors and calipers the problem is either way I put the calipers the brake hose is facing foward and looks like it will get in the way of the lower a arm and rubber bump stop when it moves up and down or its aiming down and almost kinks and hits the lower a arm when you turn the spindle. Can someone post a close up of the caliper and hose hookup on a completed conversion, Ive already checked out wurthit designs and the old posts pictures and you dont get a clear shot of that area.thanks

I ran the left hose forward, mounted the bracket removed from behind the
wheel, made a new line from the dist block , ran it fwd behind the
w/s washer bag and down and out to the newly located bracket.
I'll try to get you some pics this weekend if I get home.

I ended up using the granada brake hose brackets I took off the car that I pulled the disk setup off of. I mounted them in front of the a-arm and ran new brake lines from the proportioning valve, works great no binding or sharp bends in the hoses and stays clear of the rubber bump stops when you turn the wheel, thanks for the responce.
I plan to add disc brakes to me 57 Ford---are there any recent conversions that I could learn from. Thanks. Harold
I installed a Wilwood front disc brake kit on my 59 over 4 years ago. They retain the factory drum brake spindles, so no issues with altered suspension or steering geometry, that can occur when using spindles from a different vehicle. Pretty simple installation, quite happy with the decision.
Here is a couple pictures of mine back when I was building it, it has the Granada set up same as your describing been on there since 2011 no problems so far.
When Granada style donor cars were widely available and aftermarket choices were few, the Granada style swap was a very good alternative. I've done two of the Granada style swaps and am well pleased with the performance and service parts availability. There is a website offering all the components. That said, the last two projects have Wilwood kits. In both cases, the original spindles were used. Since donors are getting fewer or pricey, the Wilwood conversions were my choice and competitively priced with the aftermarket Granada style kits.
In the past, the main source for the Granada kits was DROP N' STOP..Dave was the owner. due to health issues, he had to stop making the kits a few years back. Not sure if there is a source now. If anybody knows of one, post it, and I'll add it to our source of vendors. ave is still on the Hamb, very helpful guy.
If I remember, on the flex hose brackets, they had to be moved to in front of the control arms as shown above.
I think that is the back of the control arms. My car had the brackets moved to the front for the Torino brakes. I am moving them back to the rear for the Wilwood set up I have now.
With the first Granada style conversion, I left the flex line frame mount in the OE location. The second conversion, I relocated the flex line frame mount in front of the spindle making for a shorter hose and less interference potential. The Wilwood conversions used the OE location.
I appreciate the replies. It appears that Wildwood is the choice. Having said that, has anyone used the Speedway conversion.
I am price conscious so any suggestions regarding that would be helpful.

The one other thing I will add is the Wilwood calipers are 4 piston fixed. Almost all other designs are
single piston floating calipers which are cheaper to manufacture and not as effective.
