Hi,
I am new to the group. I have a stock 57 fairlane 500, model 64A and wish to add a power brake booster and master. There are several on the market including one from Bill's Rod and Custom (on ebay). My car has a stock 312 with stock headers and I am a bit concerned about clearance, even with a 7" booster. the car has stock drum/drum brakes. I have 2 questions:
1. has anyone installed an aftermarkdet unit with success and if so, which one is best?
2. Does anyone know if you have to run check valves on both lines from the master? Bill's is telling me that I have to run these with my brake setup.
