Title: 1957 engine block color

Hi, what is the correct color for the 292 engine in a 1957 Ranchero.

block color is ford red. valve covers are black. air cleaner is argent(silver) all major components were painted after engine was assembled block,heads,valley pan, intake,oil pal,water pump, all red the starter, generator and other options are mostly black. hope this helps tom

That is also Ford engine red.

yes, the 312 was also red
