I'm about the tackle the job of repainting my stock 57 dog dish hub caps. Looks like the best plan is to mask off the white portion of the caps and cut out the letters with a razor blade. Any better ideas? How about the color of the paint? Thanks!
Mask it with 3M thinline vinyl masking tape, then finish it up with reg masking tape. I have used a rag with rubbing compound to remove the paint from the raised letters, but it is tedious. I'm sure there is a better way to do that, but the thinline tape is the best way to mask and paint....
