Ron:

At first glance I had decided that I'd pass on the GNRS (Grand National Roadster Show), but talking with the guy (Santini) who is painting my 57, he kind of sold me on going.  After a lot of thought about the paint colors on my 57, I came to the realization that I would not have chosen the Turquoise & White combination if I'd had the original choice.  As it was I bought a freshly painted car and the colors have grown on me over the years, but since this is likely to be the first and last chance to have what I really want. Therefore, I'm probably going to change the colors.  Santini said that the GNRS would be a great place to see a variety of color combinations and help me with making my selections.  I'll probably go on Saturday.  When are you going?

Bob,
That's a good idea on looking at colors. I'd paint the headlight
and taillight trim also if it were me. Just my opinion :unitedstates:
I'll be there Sat also in the Drive-In area. That's if I feel good
enough to get up that early :003:
