Title: Hood Clearance with a SBF 302 (EFI)
Post by: meteor on 2007-05-02 23:57
Hi there, does anyone know the clearance from the top (ports) of the injection manifold on the 302 to the underside of the hood?

I came across this cool 3x2 adapter and I'm wondering if I'll have room...

anybody?

oh and in case you're wondering, I'm not trying to jam those stacks under a 57 hood - I just think the setup in that photo is cool.

thx

How's it going?

Listen...I have been following this on the HAMB Forum also and what concerns me is that this setup will give you a single plane intake setup. I would maybe think it might be best to wait until these are actually installed on a few cars to determine the driveability.

Below is a SBF with modified TRI-POWER. It has carb adaptors to accept the small pattern 2V ROCH and looks good (IMO) and gives an early period appearance.

Not trying to derail anything but just wanting to bring this to your attention.
