What is the significance of the V8 emblem on the front fender, front of the wheel well of 57s? This was on an F-code Fairlane Victoria that I had. Didn't know if it was owner or dealer installed. Was it factory installed? The emblem looks like one on the 55s and 56s at the same location. I have only seen this on two other 57s, one was a Fairlane Victoria that shows E-code under the hood. Don't know if it was factory. The other was an old photo of a Custom 300 4dr. Don't know what engine code. Any factory Ford assembly line workers who might have knowledge?
