Im getting ready to do the interior of my 57 Custom 300 and I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good place to get a carpet kit for my car,

                     Thanks, Roger

I bought a molded carpet kit from automotiveinteriors.com

it looks pretty good, but i haven't had a chance to install it yet.

If there are specific things you want to know about it just reply.

ACC out of Anniston, AL.  Many vendors use there stuff.  I have used their carpet in about eight cars and have had great experiences each time.  Just remember to let it "relax" out side of it's shipping tube before installing.  I also put it in place for a full day or two before doing any trimming or glueing.

The carpet from Automotive Interiors is fine.  It's original loop style carpet and the fit was good.  Nice padding, pads in the right place and molded to the floor.

automotiveinteriors.com..I checked out their website...I really like the options available on carpet types, and particularly options on headliner materials. I'm going to add them to our links list. Anyone else had experience with them?  sorry Rojer..didn't mean to sidetrack your thread/  Rich

Thanks all. I will check into the places that you mentioned. The reason Im asking about this , is that the last carpet kit that I bought, it came from Dearborn Classics, for my 69 Ranchero, was terrible. Ive installed carpet in a few cars before, so I know that this was just a lousy set.
Thanks for your advice. I will post again when I get it and let you all know how it works out.

                                 Thanks,  Roger

Dearborn Classics has been bought out by Ecklers.  So far, I have tired to order a number of items from them and everything seems to be on backorder...   ???

I bought from these guys, took out one week. The carpets came from ACC. Call the phone number in the listing and talk to JP (or is it PJ?).
