Title: Exhaust manifold paint
Post by: JimNolan on 2007-05-13 06:53
Guys,
Is there a paint or coating that I can put on my exhaust manifolds to keep them from looking so burned and ugly. My car is driven everyday and it's hard competing at the car shows with cars that aren't driven. The exhaust manifolds are one of the sore spots of my car.
Has anyone used something that would work with a car that driven about 13k miles a year without coming off.
Jim

try Eastwood maybe. I gave some to a friend for his headers, heliked it. Better to have some specialty
coating done though

Eastwood stainless paint.  Need to blast the manifolds, paint, bake at 450 and run them.
Send your wife to the mall with cash before you bake them!

Thanks guys,
Sending my wife to the mall with cash will be the easy part. Having a place to stay after she gets back is a whole new ball game.
