Started off with breakfast at a local dinner and a bit of a cruise.Went to a friends to wait up for some others to go to http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=593945An unreal showing of people and cars.Later that afternoon stopped at the VA hostpital to see my buddy Wally.Very emotional talk but had some laughs too.Drove down to Hastings (Mn) to a car show and ran into Joe Commer who sold me the car 37 years ago.That was a good laugh as he hasn't seen it in over 20 years.Got the car home a little after 9:00 pm and sat in the garage with my friend Dave who had rode with to the show.It was funny to watch him get in and out of the 57 with the roll bar as he is 6' and 270lbs.This back on the street stuff is amazing.I drank till I stopped,refecting on the day.I'm a lucky boy for sure.
Sounds like a lot of fun. I can hardly wait for the Cruise nights. The shows I'm looking forward to..but Cruise Night or tours have got to be a major kick. Rich
