Title: Trunk Lock Replace
Post by: wighty on 2011-06-25 20:43

Does anyone know how to replace the key lock cylinder that is in the bezel on a Custom 300?  I have the whole Bezel assembly off the car.  I see what looks like a retaining pin going into the lock cylinder through the large diameter thread, but have no idea how to remove this except by drilling it out.

If you have the key, turn the key all the way one way (I don't remember which way) and there will be a depression that you can push that pin into, and the cylinder will slide right out.  If you have no key, you'll need a locksmith to "pick" the lock and turn the cylinder.  John
