Gave up on finding a new one. Found another option. While not cheap there are numerous companies that can rebuild the old one. These wagons get expensive fast if the tank and sending unit are bad.

How did this work out? Who did you use? I suspect I might be looking to do the same thing soon, after I work through all the other possible reasons for the fuel gauge not working well.
Havent done it yet. still researching. to many choices. would like to find recomendations on a shop but may just go for it soon.
I sent my sending unit for my ranchero to tri starr in new york they modified it with new parts, got it back didnt work right, sent it back with my fuel gauge he said he bench tested it and it should work this time, got it back it didnt. It cost me over a $100 he did refund my money. good luck!
(I found one in a wrecking yard out of a 59 ranchero works great)
Thanks for the heads up on Tri Starr. One of the parts vendors gave me a number to John Wolf co. They quoated me $135. Havent used them myself. Still undecided on what to do.
