Putting a 390 in my 57. Ive noticed the 390/292 mounts have single and double studs on them. does it matter which one I use. Also does anybody have a part number for a C6 trans mount that will work.

I've always used engine/trans mounts for a '58 Ford with a 352 F.E./auto trans, never had a problem except one where I had to oval out the trans holes on the mount for alignment,no biggey. KID
none of the parts houses around here list the trans mount. The engine mounts i bought for a 292. There a u shaped mount which i think is correct. The ones listed for a 58 352 are the flat mounts that attatch to the block with 3 bolts.
Ok I think I found one at macs. Kinda pricey. I guess I need the mount and the retainer. Will it bolt to a C6?
