Post by: mtwilsonboy on 2012-05-12 06:43
On the skyliners, does anybody know what kind of soleniods they used in the tray of 10 behind the rear seat to operate the roof? Where could I buy new ones? Thanks for any imfo.

They are the same as the starter solinoid except there is only one small terminal.  Later model Fords (70s) had solinoids with only the "start" terminal.  Look at the various 57 Ford suppliers for them.  They pop up on ebay from time to time as well.
