Title: 1956 f100 headlight ring conversion

Has anyone done it? What all is involved/needed for the conversion?

I have done it on two of my 57's and it is not to hard of a job. I will try to find the picures we took, when we done it There was also a thread over on the H.A.M.B. site that told how to do it step by step. Tom

I know this one goes back aways but I am looking into maybe doing this conversion. Anyone on here done it, pictures etc? I'm not on HAMB so that's why I'm asking here. Thanks.

Thanks. Looks pretty simple and also looks like it would be easy to go back to stock if desired. Now to find me some F100 rings.

The rings don't have to be from an F-100.  Mine came off an F-600 garbage truck.   John

Did you use a rubber gasket to keep the mud etc from coming through?
