Title: Roots 66
Post by: RICH MUISE on 2013-08-30 13:16
Just passed by this a few days ago. On the south side of Interstate 40 just east of Elk City, Ok., an area where I40 runs on the old route 66, is a a sod farm cleverly named "Roots 66".

what happened to the Root 66 picture?

Seeing how this isn't relevant to 57's, which is fine by me, heres another. If they had these Senior Bars in 1885 I wouldn't have quit drinking..

Jim...you quit drinking in 1885? You ARE old, my friend, I can see why they call you the "old man". Didn't get a pic of Roots 66...justa big field with, you guessed it, lots of grass....and a sign.

:003: :003: I'm old enough I can't see what I type, but I do remember grass in the 60-70's even without a picture.
