Just a couple of pictures to keep the ball rolling.

Love it!
Gorgeous. Nothing more appealing than a super sanitary engine compartment.
Thanks...a lot more finish work has been done since those pictures, the twist ties holding the rad... most things were temporary for the start up. I'm sure a lot of guys know what it's like to be near finished a build, well if you do that's pretty much how I'm feeling, still want one quick spin before winter.
Well done Donnie!!!!!!!!!
The workmanship looks outstanding.

You did a nice clean job on your car considering what you had to start with. Are you using a fiberglass hood because I don't see any hood hinges in the picture. Jay
No it's the original steel hood, the hinges were not on in that picture.
Your right Ecode70D, the car was in bad shape... at times I wondered if it was worth all the time and money, but I think when you take a car from pile of rust to what it is now... I guess it makes you happy and broke! All I know is I couldn't find the stop button.
I now what it takes to punch the round holes in you core support, how or what did you use for the oblong ones ?

Can I drive it? :burnout:
Well I would have, till I saw your post....When driving to Palookaville!!!!
Jeff
HRD got you good on that one.
You never should have shown the world how you drove that nice 57 on the road to Palookaville. The past comes back to haunt you. Ha Ha
Zapato. The fella that did all my metal work did the holes, and I have no idea what method or tools he used... but I will ask him and let you know. HRD.
Zapato. Rob said if I told you and no one else he would give me the info on the hinge holes, so here goes....2 holes and cut out the middle! HRD
Neat way, very clean i've seen those dies that roll the edges (not cheap) kinda thought that was what he might have done. He's good made it look like a one shot deal. Now you and I now, lol.

The work he did was about 3 years ago, and he has since added a lot more shop tools and equipment, told me to bring that piece back and he would roll the lip.... but it's and not coming back off.
You should post his contact info on the Supplier heading. His work is incredibly clean.
