Well, I've said it before, but I'll say it again...There's something about your car in particular that just looks right. Thanks for posting the pics...that first model..that's an oldie!

The Ranchero is the same size as match box car. It is made of rubber. I got it at antique shop. Wildhog has a part I need, I thought maybe I could bribe him with it. The other two things are for sale . I did not pick them up. The Ford crest was around $30. The cop car i think was $12.

I'll have to agree that car looks right because it looks like a 57. I hope you always keep it in a unmodified condition..

Thanks for the kind words guys. These pictures were taking with a cell phone.
the car is definitely not cherry , it has plenty of road rash and bumps and bruises.
But i think thats what gives it its character.
My plan is to keep it pretty much as is. Although it sure could use more
horses.
I think its the simplicity of the cars looks that make it "look " right.
If you look at the tires in Christmas picture at the park. You can see the dust from
the few miles of gravel roads i was on earlier.

I too have one of those toy Rancheros, neat thing about them are the molded in driver and passenger. Also found mine in an antique store paid $12- for mine. Looking forward to the day I drag out boxes of toys and finish setting up "my" room.

Car looks great. It's probably a rarity to see someone with their 57 in snow.
