Title: Dual master cylinder
Post by: Jerrys Kars on 2016-03-09 21:11
Want to replace the single master cylinder on a stock 57 Fairlane. Manual drum front and rear. Want to use a dual master cylinder for extra safety.  Drums seem to stop just fine. I'm used to them. Recommendation? Auto parts store for replacement? What year will fit? Any mods to rod?
Thanks
Jerry

I bought one a few years back for my 57 at MP Master Power. I have since then changed to 4 wheel disk power brakes. You have to specify drum-drum to get the correct application.  Their toll free  phone number is (888) 351-8781.

Second generation mustang mc works great for what you are planning. One should be available at most part houses.
