When we receive an application for membership, we send out an email for you to respond to. Currently, it will read like this:
Thanks for your application to the 57fordsforever forum. To be approved, we just need you to respond to this email with enough text so that we know you are not a robot. Looking forward to your posts. Please include your chosen username in your reply, and make sure your response is sent to richardmuise@yahoo.com, otherwise I won't get it.

After you apply, watch your email for for one from either James Potter or myself.........richardmuise@yahoo.com I try to get emails sent out within a day or two unless I'm out of town. You also may want to check your spam folder as well as your regular email.

After you respond to my email, please do not delete it until you know I have approved you.
I'm realizing I may be missing some replies because the return email may be sent from another device or email address with a different name, so I've got no way of knowing which of the applicants waiting for approval is tied to that response. I only have a list of usernames and the email address given to us, so if the response comes in under another name from a different device, I can't always tie the two together.
I just edited my previous post to request replies include the chosen username.
