Does anyone know the difference between an "A2" or "B2" designation? Timing curve, vacuum advance...?.?

Bob.....a few months ago a friend of mine was looking for a 312 distributor. The wanted ad I posted led to a bunch of discussions, which may have some of the info you're looking for?
