Post by: johns2000 on 2008-09-17 08:01
Anyone know a source for the wood trim they used on the 57-58 country squire's?

Thanks in advance

57 and 58 Country Squires have different trim, but I think some pieces interchange. No one is making new trim, but if you have the old trim it can be repaired and the wood grain redone. I restored a 57 Country Squire years ago and repaired the trim (it's fiberglass) and used heat gun and contack paper to redo the grain. The wood panels on the sides and rear were also done with contack paper then sealed. It been at least 12 years and I still see the car once in awhile at shows and it still looks good.
