I don?t want to muck this up. It looks as fit there are 2-3 clips under but I can figure this one out and also want to save the clip.
I pull the screws and worked a plastic trim tool but I don?t want to yank it.
I have had the most luck sliding it side ways. I place bondo spreaders under the edge to keep it from scrapping then gently tap on the end with a wood block. The very end of the trim will have to be folded up slightly to clear the clips. It will fold down without distorting the finished top portion.
There are three clips that have two screws each holding them to the drip rail.
Thanks for the advice. I noticed the clips after I posted they are in the body illustrations also. I will give a go on the sideways removal.
That worked thanks it?s good practice, as I will be having to do this to my hardtop also. So is there an actual tool that pushes and pulls?
None that I know of.....
