Title: hemming's Classic Cars
Post by: alvin stadel on 2021-09-23 09:07
I received my new copy of Hemmng's Classic Cars yesterday, and was very supprised to see that there is a 5 or 6 page write up on a 57 Ford F code custom. I haven't taken time to read it yet but will this afternoon. I have been getting this magazine  for many years. A while back they got a new editor, and he has a real soft spot for British cars. So I am glad to see the 57 story. Take care, Alvin

That is my car.  I couldn't have gotten the car restored to this level without this forum and advise and parts from many people on this forum, thanks to everyone.

I don't have a subscription to Hemmings but if that is the red Custom in the article I found online that is one beautiful automobile.

Randy, I'm still hoping we can get the three cars together someplace, Richard, yours, and mine. That would be a great picture, we had a chance once, I'm thinking if Rich gets Carlisle to due another 57 meet it might happen. Jviera

John, Thanks for the nice words. Your car is extremely well done, not sure if I would want to go up against it in a judged competition.  I think a picture with those three cars would be great lots of Flame Red, hope we can meet again some time.  Hemming's did an really nice job with the pictures and article.  Below are a couple pictures I took.

Yep, absolutely gorgeous! I don't do Facebook too much, but I'm assuming the Rich/Richard they are referring to as the 3rd of the grouping is a Facebook member? LOL, I know it's not me!! I do get frequent notices of a Richard Stuck posting there.....is he the third?

Richard Struck is the third, another custom supercharged been in many magazines and has participated in a number of concours including an invite to the Amelia Island in Florida. He was also the person who organize the e and f code reunion at Carlisle. JViera
