Went to a small car show (about 120 cars). Saw a beautiful Country Squire Wagon, it is the only wagon I have seen in the recent past. I also had a 57 Chevy Belaire two door post car park next to me and I decide to line up the with the car to compare. I was AMAZED at the results so I thought I post the pics I took.
I know which one I would rather have :002:
We had a classic car show at a local Chevy dealership this past weekend. I laughed at the flyer when it came out since it only had Fords on it. I don't think it went through a review process with the dealership before being printed. Turned out to be a beautiful day and a lot of nice cars!
Thats too funny
Sometimes the Chevy guy's shows can be fun. A few years back, at the local Chevy Club's show, I took the "best in Class" plaque for 49-64. Made my day, I was in shock when they called my name.
That's a beautiful Country Squire. They're a rare bird. I'm still amazed Ford never made the wagon on the Fairlane platform. .
It's always fun to compare the two. The Ford just makes the Chevy look old and out of date. How it ever became renowned for being the "iconic" 50's car is beyond me.
I think that's the prettiest 57 country squire I've seen. I'm not much of a station wagon guy but that one would make me one pretty quick if I had the opportunity to own it.
Thanks for posting the photos.
