Title: gas tank filler neck
Post by: meteor on 2008-12-15 09:59
I guess this question is for wagon and ranchero guys...

it's time to put the new tank in the car and can anybody tell me if there is some sort of rubber grommet/gasket/adapter that goes where the filler neck meets the gas tank? thx

Try Macs or Dennis Carpenter...

Thanks James. I couldn't find anything in the Dennis Carpenter catalogue or Mac's.

As I understand I do need one, generic o-ring might fit but apparently difficult to find the right size.

It takes an O-ring. Steve Huggins (RIP) sent me mine.
