Title: Borgesen PS box with factory (57) pump
Post by: cos on 2023-09-08 10:05
After searching for answer for factory pump with Borgesen PS box I could not find a positive Yes or no. I aware Factory pumps do  not have pressure required, but somebody must have tried it. Thanks Cos

Can't speak for the borgeson but I have a modern for pump on the old power ram. And found I could cut the spring in the pump. to change the pressure to get a slower steering feel.
People with certain Chevy pumps can just change the valve.

There is also a PS pump to gear adjustable valve that hiedts made. But the hose would be all custom.  And you have more points for leakage. But you can basically adjust the pressure with it.

I have no idea as to what PS pump this is but maybe someone here can ID it.
It does feed the Borgesen box & the steering is great.Power steering pump.jpg

Did some searching looks like a Ford Pump about 67-76
So ford brackets might be what they offer.

That bracket looks very similar to the one I pulled from an 89 P/U.
