Didn't really need it , probably paid too much money for it but I wanted it and will use it on my old junk .
Obviously designed for points but work with Pertronix and MSD Ready to run for setting advance curves
Cool! If nothing else great shop decoration that is sure to be a conversation starter!
Always wanted one! Congrats!
Wow, where did you get one in that kind of shape? It looks like a museum piece!

Boy have I got a deal for you ! I have a similar vintage Marquette machine that stopped working properly last month.
Strobe , vacuum pump , gauges , spin motor all work . Probably a resistor , capacitor or something similar I am told.
Found this machine and had to have it so the Marquette must go !
This Sun unit was a clean machine to start and was upgraded with modern parts .
Wow that Sun Tester is SOMETHING ELSE ! One beautiful piece of kit !!! Even better that it's properly working. I have a German Bosch equivalent, from the 1950s.
aalways wanted 1, but since I sold the 51 an the 57 has a electronic eg, no need, an just taken up space in the garage, ,like I have the room

3 of my cars have electronic distributors but the machine is useful on those as well for setting up advance curves.
Great!
Hoping to get my 52 dist. tester running this winter. Fortunately, I have a 48 model for parts. Along with welding in new sheet metal pans.
