Title: 57 RHT
Post by: alvin stadel on 2024-10-29 09:45
Like Rich abd Cobra Joe, and I am sure others here on the site, I have to get  some 57's sold, so I have listed my retractable with Hemmings on line auctions. My auction ends on Nov. 1st. I am not sure if this was the right way to go or not. As of this morning there were over 3000 views and 4 bids. Thw high bid this morning was $15,000.00 and that is a long way from the reserve, so will wait and see.  After all these years it is hard to let go, but it is time.

That car looks stunning! I hope that you get what you want for it. Sometimes there are folks in the IFRC looking for them.

Modified cars are hard to sell on line, I would suggest you put the car in a live action.

Lou, I think you are right. With almost 9000 views and only 5 bids that didn't even make it half way to my reserve. So next spring I will have it at a live auction.
