Title: 1957 Ford Fairlane Radio Noise
Post by: chapingo17 on 2024-11-26 16:24
I'm starting to pickup noise from radio. Its an after-market replica not sure if anyone has experience this problem and knows of a fix? Also, I upgraded to a GM alternator and run petronix ignition.

Just my experience...I went through three of them.  They have two knobs, kinda' fit, and look similar to period radios.  That's were it ends.  Sound quality and durability are way down the list.  If I'm not using the original radio chassis with updates, I install a single DIN bracket.  I can swap out radios in five minutes.
