Sweet.hope to see it again when finished. They have some pennies into that build!
Great looking build, wonder how much road use it will see. Seems that so many of these mega dollar builds never see any movement, except from the climate controlled garage, into an enclosed trailer, and then rolled into position at a car show. Hopefully this one is the exception, and actually get driven. There is a guy back where I used to live, that had 3 Chip Foose built vehicles, but none have ever been seen outside of car shows. I suppose if you have deep enough pockets to spent $300,$400, or $500,000 on a "static display", and not care about the money spent, good for you, but I couldn`t imagine not driving such a car myself. I hope that I am wrong about this one, and he drives the wheels off of it.
I once had someone refuse to sell me a Mustang because they knew I would drive it now and then. Garage queen.
Steve Saleen loves that I drive my one of one '88 convertible. A little over 100k and still going strong.
There was a time when I spent so much time making everything new again then I did not enjoy driving the car for fear of wear and tear. I realized that was not for me. "Road Kill" and rat rods were not my cup of tea either. Now I feel completely comfortable in my Custom. It looks good but not great and it is FUN to drive! Now I spend my effort addressing all the things that diminish the driving experience.
