if you do find some, ask them to identify each bow as to its front-to-back position
I suggest that you go to the home page here on the FORUM, scroll down to " '57 Ford Parts and Supplier Links".
Click on it, go to the second listing,"Salvage Yards". Click on it. Try the yards in Kansas, Minnesota and Sunset Texas.
And if they have what you need, follow Rich's suggestion regarding getting the bows sequence identified.
John
The bows are color coded on one end. The assembly manual has the order for them running from front to back. You need to look very carefully as the colors tend to be really faded.
Yes, faded, exactly! That's why I suggested marking the sequencing as the paint codes may not be there anymore.. When I redid mine, I was concerned about the rust on them and the staining that would occur on what was to be my new headliner fabric, as well as the difficulty of sandblasting these parts. I wrapped each of the bows in color coded electrical tape. Harbor Freight carries a package of 1/2 dozen colors on small rolls that just happened to be the colors I needed!.

(For my info)
I have some bows came with one of mine, how do you tell front from back & are the number some how? How many are needed I may have extras . Not that far with either the 57 or the 58.
As mentioned, they were color-coded with a splash of paint on the ends. I'm not sure which shop manual would have the chart to tell you where each goes. I'm guessing it's not in the regular shop manual, maybe "trim and accessories" manual?? I'm crazy busy for the next two days, then gone for 2 more. If nobody has that info, I'll look when I get back

If you're still needing top bows check out "Hoover" under parts suppliers.
Found it, it is in the "body, trim, and sealant" manual........5 or 6 pages for all the models.
for 70A and 70B, 70D 73A and 73B: The front bow is #1
#1 black
#2 white
#3 blue
#4 yellow
#5 red
#6 green
#7 aluminum
Ed...Is your '58 yellow?

Kind of yellow pictures above. Now I'll check the bows, don't recall colors but I'll be in my shop most of the day tomorrow.
