Title: Side window run channel clips
Post by: johns2000 on 2025-06-28 09:06
Is there a special tool needed to crimp over retaining clip prongs into the new window channel or just use a nail set etc to bend over tabs?

Honestly, I just glued mine on. been good all these years. I can't remember what glue I used, I think some sort of epoxy glue.

I believe that i have seen them in the Restorations Specialties catalog. i had two sets of old channel, so i could salvage and bead blast enough for my wagon. used 3M 5200 adhesive, taped and wire tied them till it set, (about a week ,lol) tried to pull one off, just to see if i could. appears to be "bomb proof".
