Title: 5.8 Engine Swap?
Post by: KYBlueOval on 2015-03-16 21:11
Can you guys tell me IF, I can put a late 90's 5.8 Truck Engine, with the tall truck intake, in a '57? If the intake is too tall, what intake has been used?
Thanks
John

use fox body motor mounts,70's front sump pan,the intake is too high, will not fit under stock hood.edelbrock makes a 5.8 efi intake for the mustang,i am told this will fit under the hood.i have also seen a adapter plate made to fit the stock 5.8 lower truck intake on to a fox body mustang upper intake.that should also fit under the hood
