Title: '57 Sunliner convertible WANTED
Post by: hemidave on 2016-05-27 10:31
I'm looking for a '57 Sunliner convertible, hopefully with as many options as possible, except continental kit and spotlights, and an older restoration or original would be ideal. Thanks, Dave   tron88@comcast.net or 413-348-7596

The Ford Nationals are coming up in a week or so, I bought a really nice driver quality + convertible (76B) there 5 or 6 years ago for a very fair price. One piece of advise, get there early Friday because if a 50s Ford is a good original or a correct restoration and is fairly priced it will be sold by Friday afternoon.

Thanks Guys,
I got a call from a guy who may be selling one that may fit my bill. I would really like an "E" or "F" code, or one with factory AC, pw, p seat , pb, ps if possible for my personal collection.

E or F code...the big bucks stuff. Have you checked the www.Jerrysclassiccars.com website....His stuff all look fantastic.
I did look thru my old pics trying to find pics of a white '57 soft top I saw for sale at the Goodguys show in Phoenix. It spent alot of it's years as a museum car. I think I remember the asking price was 37K, which frankly surprised me seeing the immaculate condition. I obviously don't know if the car is still for sale, I can look some more for the pics, which does include a closeup of the for sale sign with phone #.

Thanks Rich,
I do check Jerry's website from time to time and have talked with him and his brother. If I found an "F" Sunliner project, I would have them restore it. They do a beautiful job!

This one is original, needs restored, just got the email tday, looks interesting, I think he wants to trade for a Custom vs selling it outright though, just putting it out there....

"I have a nice, straight 57 sunliner project.practically rust free top and underneath . Engine is stuck.easy resto. Would like to trade up or down on a 57 custom deluxe. A factory willow green 2-door sedan would be nice. Thank you!"

pm me for his contact info if interested....

Thanks Jim, but I don't think I want to get involved in a project unless it was an "F" or loaded "E" Sunliner.
