I just installed a '95 5.0 with a AODE trans form the same car and I'm wondering which shifter to use. What have you guys used? I'm only finding the org Mustang or Lokar or B&M Hammer
I'm using the B&M hammer, I like the looks and feel but it is a bit confusing initially till you get some experience with it. My wife was totally lost when I asked her to shift into neutral, a friend was trying to figure it out and was struggling with knowing what gear it was in. Since it ratchets and is designed for speed shifting through the gears while drag racing and minimizes the chance of shoving it into neutral by mistake. If your going to be speed shifting and or drag racing you'll like it. If you just going for regular cruising and touring you may want to try something else.
