sad to see your baby leave Joe, but I sure do understand that. You have another one in the line, waiting to get assembled, which will take a lot of money, efforts, time and attention. it's just life...

Jay, I made that tool 27 years ago when I lowered my first 57 SD. I have used it on several early Fords since. also worked great on my 53 Lincoln. Cheap but sturdy and simple.

I installed the trunk latch and have it aligned and working.  As far as the mechanical release, I ran that between the inner and outer panels the same with the electrical wiring.

Thanks guys; my health is fine, but as bill said, life gets in the way sometimes.
Rich, I sent you a PM earlier today, but for some reason, I don't see it in my sent box; let me know if you got it.

It is funny how "life" changes things for us.  My wife has had a series of medical issues over the last two years.  Taking care of business resulted in the cars being put on the back burner.  As a result everything got sold, 57 Ranchero, 57 Retractable, 65 T-Bird, and 58 Edsel.  Turned them into a 24 F150 Lariat.  No regrets, no hard feelings, just life.  Now that things are looking better I am back in the "collecting" stuff, just on a more manageable level.
