sorry to say, i don't know what a heater delete plate is, would someone tell me?,   thannks

It is a plastic panel that that replaces the heater controls on the dash like the clock and radio deletes. I have clock and radio deletes, but the heater is a little harder to find. There is also a metal panel that bolts to the firewall to cover the opening where the heater core and blower motor protudes into the engine bay.

OK, after I posted this, I found one on ebay and just won it. Still would like to find the engine compartment block off plates if anyone has a lead, please let me know. Thanks, Glen

Glen, I may have an extra upper delete, not a lower though.  If I can find it, it's yours...Gimme a day or two.  You wouldnt happen to have  a useable Custom rear seat would you?

Thanks, James I'll take it. The dash delete fell through, after the auction ended, the guy let me know that he had made a mistake, it was a clock delete. So I'm still looking. I'll have to check Friday, but I think I have a decent back seat. I'll let you know.

I have an extra dash plate for the lowline heater, delete plate with the hole, but no uncut ones.

Just a suggestion but couldnt you take a radio delete plate which are a lot easier to find and cut the length to make it work?.

Glen Henderson

I have thought about doing just that, but haven't looked at it close enough. This car want be a full restroration so I have though about just fabing up plates for it but since I already have the clock and raido deletes, I will use them if I can come up with something for the heater. James the one that you have with holes may work, Might be a good place to mount my switchs. This car will be a race car initially, later on I may want to add the creature comforts and drive it. James, I'll let you know about the rear seat later today.

Glen Henderson

James, I have a good rear seat back but not a seat bottom. The bottoms are just the frames and springs, you might be able to make one out of them if you can't find a better one.

I'll get with you as soon as I am able, Glen.  I have been laid up for the last two or three days with the flu, or some gawdawful bug.  As soon as I can get up and around I'll see what I can do about getting back up there again, or a least getting these parts to you.
