Power steering Alternative

I just Looked at a 1957 Lincoln With No Motor and Trans I Looked at the Steering Gear Box.  It has a Power steering on it.  Mounting looks to be the Same as the1957 or 1958
Ford frame mount. Has any one heard or tried this.  Looks like the coloumn looks like it can be a little work.

I have looked into the Lincoln box a long time ago in my quest for the perfect power steering. I don't remember why I didn't think it was a good swap . I think it might have been the size or the shape of the box for clearance . Let us know what you find out if you try it .
