batteries

our cars can't run without a car battery,  so this has to b car related,  i have 5 batteries in a setup against the wall for the winter,   i use a trickler system, maybe u have seen them from harbor freight?,   i was checking the batteries and found 2 of them to be up around 17 volts,  the rest were at 14 or so,   when is  high to high?,  thanks    jerry

I'd say 14 v on a trickle system is about it.  Just my opinion though...
