 I wanted to order a set of 460 swap headers and get their phone# from their website but all I get is
"this account has been suspended" message. I've heard other people getting long delays on headers
motor mounts, etc. Anybody heard of anything about whats going on with them?

 Thanks, I see the headers have gone up $30.00. Still not a bad deal for a header for a niche market.

You need to call Crites right now on the phone!  Ther phone number is on the website.

I just sent back a special order set, that took 8 months to build as he changed the jig to make them fit better.  I had to find another set to get my project done.

The headers should have just got back to his shop.  These are the brand new version, that have been revised to have more clearance.

Please tell them I sent you.

I no longer needed the headers, as it took so long to get them, I found another set of Crites headers.

I had a deadline to prepare for a Pink's All Out event with my red/white custom sedan, and needed them by last  March.

We have used them on many 57 and 58's.  My dad's edsel has a set and we just put a set of '57 headers on a 66 cyclone with a 460.

They do hang down, but they are they best performance header we have available for these car. they are priced very low for a set of Ford headers as well.

The Crites are nice people and have taken the effort to make parts for our cars and deserve our support.

I too have had a bad experience with Crites.
I ordered an aluminum radiator from them for a FE engine into a 57!
After three months, and no status and no radiator, I cancelled the radiator.
I get the impression almost everything with them is a SPECIAL ORDER that has to be built once you place the order.

I called Crites this morning, mentioned your name Pat and she said they were sold. I ordered a set anyway
they said it should take about 6 weeks. I'm not in a big hurry for them as I have other parts to acquire and machine work to get done, but I would like them before Xmas.
