White Wall Width

Hi,
Looking at tires and wondering what the proper white wall width would be for 1957
2.25" / 2.5" / 2.75"

the correct size was 2 11/16th any thing close would be alright also 57 was the first year of the narrower whites on late 57's

i guess my 2 1/4 was wrong,    but i could have sworn i was righjt,   but i do remember when i went to replace my white walls that all they had was the narrow whites,  didn't like them then & don't like them now,  which is what i have on the conv but there to good to replace at this time,   jerry
