Vernon, Texas criuse nights, shows, burnouts

Starting August 10th..(main stuff going on 12th thru 14th) cruise nights..Friday night is longest cruise night route..5 or 6 shows going on thruout Friday at different locations in town..one for classics, one for motorcycles, one for tractors, one for redneck cruisers, etc.
Each year the city of Vernon Texas rolls out the red carpet for the hot rodders. Saturday morning burnout contest..Sunday 300 car show (at Roy Orbison Park). Lovin Spoonful will be in town for a concert (they gotta be in wheelchairs! lol). Vernon is a couple hours south of Amarillo, not too far north of Wichita Falls.
