Hey all! I'm new to the forum here and happy to be in! I have searched the threads for info concerning a generator to alternator swap and what it involves. Does anyone here have some info they want to share? The car is a Custom 300 with the 6 cyl. I plan on fabing the needed brackets and such but if someone makes a conversion kit I would rather go with that.

Thanks!
Dave

Welcome to the club Dave. Here's a link that should help you out. The bracket setup he describes is for a v8, but the connections should be the same. I'm not aware of any aftermarket I-6 bracket kits, but I've been wrong before!

P.S. every Ford , Y-Block enthusiast, should see Steve's 32 Ford Roadster Street Rod....it is Outstanding, AND POWERED BY FORD 312 Y-BLOCK!!!!!! No Chevy scrubs in this beautiful 32.
