It's amazing how many models used the same parts. I salvaged a floorpan out of a '58 Fairlane 4 door for my Custom (shorter wheelbase) 2 dr. The '58 floorpan had some extra 1" or so holes around the center door posts that my custom didn't have, but other than that...identical.

It is amazing......many parts carried over from year to year.  57 interior door handle are the same ones used in and up to 63 T-Birds.  Inner structure and floor pans carried over for many years as well........one exception, 57/58 retratable and convertible rear pans are different from 500s and 300s.

while we are on the subject of braces. On a wagon there is a brace for the rear body mount (behind rear tire). is there a replacement for these?

RICH MUISE

That I know of, EMS is the only one making repops on the braces. Don't know if they make the ones for wagons though. Just a guess, but posibly the same as Rancheros, or close enough to alter.
