Does anyone know if the splines etc. on the 57 interior door handles and window cranks are the same as the later GM ones?

Don't worry, I'm not thinking of using GM ones, but aftermarket ones. :)

Thanks in advance

The spline is different and the shank is smaller....

Yep, just figured this out today. hahaha. Any other years or types of vehicles that will have the same size shaft/splines as ours. Bc I don't really like the few options that are available

Look at all Ford type handles.  They used the same shaft/spline for years.  64,5 and 6 Birds have a nice handle......

So any definite years or vehicles that will work for sure?

Some early GM handles may work.  The Fairlane that my dad bought from Glen had one GM handle, wasnt any kind of late model...do some more checking, maybe in the 55-57 range?
