Idea for new EMS repair panel

Does anyone else think it would be a good idea for ems to make a repair section for the bottom part of the trunk lid on the 57 fairlane? I am referring to the skin which goes over the inner steel frame.

That seems to be a pretty common spot for rusting out, I know mine could use some repair. It would be an easy panel for ems to stamp and I think there would be demand for it.

I agree with you this is a problem areaif the car has been sitting for a long time with the trunk closed.  Condensation build up inside and rusts the panel where it folds over the inner skin.  I have had that problem with both my Failane and my Custom 300.

I`m trying to contact EMS about this panel idea. Does anyone have a trunk lid which could be used as a model for the panel?
