engine mounting plate indentification

I am trying to determine what engine mount kit to buy from butch's rod shop. there are different kits for either original I6 or V8 cars. I don't know what type of engine my car came with.

Before anyone says look at the data plate, my car is Canadian and the data plates are totally different and can't be read like the ones on 57ford.com. i have the engine out so i can look at and measure the plates if there is a measurement which is definitively different between the two. 

any help would be appreciated.

Treat as an original V8 car. The  6 cylinder and V8 frame and trans mounts were the same.   The radiator in a six cylinder car was mounted further ahead and the fuel line is originally on the driver side on a V8 car, while the 6 had a fule line on the passenger side.   A choke in place of the lighter is also a givaway of a six popper.

the fuel line is mounted on the drivers side and it looks like it is meant to be there.

also, it is a fairlane 500, so a V8 makes sense.
