Tach hookup?

Hey Guy's,

   My Dad had an old tach in the trunck of the car, it has four wires from it, what do I need to do to hook it up? Never installed one, and Tom wouldn't have seen the fun in leaving instructions(Ha,Ha)

           one wire ground,one power,one dash lights, one coil, your best bet would be to go on line to the tach manufacture web sight instructions are there.

Dug out an old Sun tach. Has 4 wires  red/ batt. pwr   green/coil-   yellow/dash light   black/ground

I've seen some old Sun tacks that had a sender box, it looked like a voltage regulator. I've never hooked one up.

I hope this isn't one of those! I don't have the box, I guess i'll see when I hook it up! I'm chasing a no spark issue right now. Coil good, points are great, the only thing left is the resister.
